Sheryl VandenBerg
Sheryl is an administrative professional who brings her experience, work ethic, and customer service background to the Spencer Law team. Prior to joining Spencer Law, Sheryl spent 35+ years working in the financial services industry, developing superior skills in managing and ensuring the confidentiality of clients’ sensitive information. At Spencer Law, she works with clients during initial intake and schedules appointments with courtesy and professionalism.
Prior to joining Spencer Law, Sheryl worked 18 years for MetLife/Mass Mutual initially serving as a General Administrator/Operations Manager where she supervised administrative personnel and the securities activities of registered financial services representatives across three states. In a later role, Sheryl was named Senior Compliance Analyst where she was responsible for supervising securities transactions and email correspondence for financial services representatives located in New York and New Jersey. Her additional experience includes working in customer service in the insurance industry and assisting the director of a Medicaid HMO. Sheryl previously held her Life/Health/Annuity license, as well as her Series 7 and Series 24 securities registrations.
A familiar face to many Pensacola residents, Sheryl spends much of her free time volunteering as a performer in Pensacola’s community theater. She is a talented artist who has had roles in numerous musicals, comedies, and dramatic productions including a performance at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC in “Seaplane”, written by Pensacola’s own Jack & Carolyn Fleming with music by Alan Pote.
